In England many family jewels, estates and titles are past for generation. And because all wealth belong to the person carrying the title, family estates are not lost or broken into small pieces and family heirlooms are still in their possessions. Meghan of course wasn’t aware of it as she was from different country where such rules are non existent. Harry isn’t the sharpest tool in the box and should be familiar with those.

besides all of that, Earl Spencer was rather careful with quick welcoming Meghan as a pet of the family, he was advising Harry not to rush into the marriage. He is also very strong minded person and once he makes decision, that would be a rule now on.

anither thing is that Spencer family became more significant since Diana married Charles and have him an heir. Next king of England has some Spencer blood in his veins. They are still making money on people loving Diana, they are allowing people to visit her family residence (with a ticket of course). Already Diana is part of every memory and every speech they are giving. Personally I find this odd as Harry doesn’t remember a lot about her as he was rather young when she died, Meghan seems to have too strong connection with Diana.

During Oprah interview she was using very similar sentences that Diana did in her Panorama interview, she is playing Diana card and that is her way to manipulate and keep Harry in prison of his own traumas, he seems to be terrified of history repeating itself (understandable) but his fear is based on her manipulations not rational thinking
