The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared at the event for Sentebale, which Harry, 39, founded in 2006. The foundation works with young people and children impacted by HIV in Botswana and Lesotho. According to body language expert Judi James, the couple’s kiss proved that the two have no problems flaunting their love in front of onlookers. James told The Mirror that the smooch was reminiscent of one the Sussexes shared back in 2018 at a different event, and that it indicated how in-sync the lovebirds are together.

“Back in 2018 Harry, looking all fired-up and full of passion after hammering around on the polo field, planted a very sexy kiss on Meghan’s lips, giving the kiss a ‘get a room!’ quality,” James said. “His expression was serious and he looked lost in the moment as he turned his head but kept his torso facing front.” “Meghan tilted her head back in the same neck-baring gesture of submission that [Princess] Diana used when she kissed [King] Charles on their wedding day. The polo trophy looked irrelevant and they almost had to be reminded it was supposed to be handed over,” she continued.

However, the most recent lip-lock “shows the love is still there but it is a much sweeter, more fun PDA.” The way that their hands laid on the trophy this time around as they canoodled, suggested that the “Suits” star, 42, and Harry have “higher levels of sociability than they showed when they appeared lost in the moment back in 2018.” “It’s Harry craning his neck here and Meghan’s heels make her able to kiss at a more even angle. The body language is more mirrored here, illustrating the levels of like-minded synchronicity that has grown over the years.”

For the polo match, Markle donned a white sleeveless dress and beige heels, with Harry sporting a cool blue button-down and tie-less suit. Despite the fiery kiss and the gorgeous ensemble, James claimed that the former actress looked less sure of herself than the Invictus Games founder at the bash.

“The couple present like film stars here, holding hands as they pose and smile for the cameras… Meghan is [wearing] huge shades and wide smiles, while Harry’s puffed chest and confident stride suggests he is in his absolute element,” she told the Express Friday. “Meghan only looks slightly less assured when she is in the paddock with him before the match starts, where her folded arms make her look a little less confident.”

The pair had moved away from the rest of the royal family back in 2020 and made the move to Montecito, Calif. They have since grown their brand, with the upcoming launch of their lifestyle company American Riviera Orchard, as well as creating their Archewell Productions banner. The duo also landed a lucrative deal with Netflix worth $100 million, and will be debuting two new TV series on the streamer in the forthcoming months. “Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links.”

Prince Harry might have been awarded a trophy yesterday for his polo skills, but it seems Duchess Meghan’s love will always be his greatest prize. The prince competed in, and ultimately won, the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. He had his wife’s support on the sidelines and at the trophy ceremony during the big day. Upon presenting the award to Harry, Meghan gave her husband a big sweet kiss, as captured by People.

Meghan looked lovely in a creamy-white maxi dress that featured a mock neckline, sleeveless design, a small triangle cutout along the fitted bodice, and a flouncy A-line skirt with pleating throughout. She accented the angelic frock with a huge matching bow (which she wore in her low ponytail), classic nude pointed-toe pumps, a couple gold bangles, large gold sphere earrings, and oversize black shades. Meghan finished everything off with pretty, fresh makeup. For Harry’s part, he sported his polo uniform, consisting of a blue-and-white quarter-zip T-shirt, white pants, and tall brown boots.

“They were very loving with each other. Meghan looked really happy,” an onlooker told People. “They held hands as they arrived and talked to everyone there. It was Harry’s night to shine and Meghan was very supportive.” The charity match saw an attendance of 300 guests and was held in benefit of Harry’s organization Sentebale, which he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006. Sentebale supports the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people affected by poverty, inequality, and HIV/AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana.

The polo match—in combination with other events from the week, including a dinner and panel in Miami and a Sotheby’s Sentebale Benefit Auction—raised a total of $1 million for the organization. The sporting event comes one day after the couple announced they are launching two nonfiction series on Netflix. The first will see the former Suits actress “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” the couple said in a statement.

Meghan will serve as one of the executive producers, via her and Harry’s company Archewell Productions; it will be produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Intellectual Property Corporation, directed by Michael Steed, and showrun by Leah Hariton. The second series will follow none other than the world of polo, capturing players at the highest level and the social scene surrounding the sport. It will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures and showrun by Miloš Balać, with Harry and Meghan once again serving as executive producers through their company.
