Brittany Mahomes revealed a worrying episode of her family that raised the prayers of her followers: The businesswoman and model shared her concern for her daughter with her followers on Instagram.

The concerns of parenthood affect everyone equally, regardless of age, profession, or social status, as Patrick and Brittany Mahomes recently found out. In a recent post on her Instagram Stories, the mother of two sadly shared that one of her little ones had fallen ill.

Brittany and Patrick have been high school sweethearts. They married in 2022 and have two children, Sterling Skye and Patrick Jr., a.k.a. “Bronze.” This past February 20, Sterling turned three years old, and, as expected, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife celebrated big.

In the photos Brittany shared on her Instagram at that time, you can see the family enjoying the celebration alongside their loved ones. The Mahomes never expected that just over two months after the happy moment, little Sterling’s health would be seriously compromised. In a photo posted to her Instagram Stories, Brittany revealed that her oldest child had been sick for the past four days. “Day 4 of sickness for my baby boo,” Brittany noted in her post, explaining, “Some stomach virus that won’t get the heck out of here.”

In the photo, you can see Sterling asleep and lying on her mother’s lap. Brittany, for her part, wraps her daughter in a hug. The sad snapshot provoked an immediate response of sympathy from Mahomes’ followers. “Prayers for your little girl,” “Sorry,” and “Prayers, hope she gets well soon” were some of the responses from Internet users following the news.

Fortunately, children are more resilient than we all think. Shortly after uploading the photo about Sterling’s illness, Brittany shared new images where they were swimming. “Who says a dip in the pool can’t fix it. Sis randomly just said she wanted to go swimming, so we are feeling better,” Mahomes explained.

It is common for Brittany to share all kinds of news about her children. After the scare over Sterling’s health, the wife of the three-time Super Bowl champion uploaded a series of snapshots to her Stories where you can see Bronze playing with a teddy bear. “This boy loves his bear,” Brittany captioned the image, which is just one of many that she has uploaded and will continue to upload with her children’s worst and best moments.
