U.S. Marine Brian McGinnis got thrown out of a senate hearing for standing up against the war in Iran. He can be heard shouting, “NO ONE WANTS TO FIGHT FOR ISRAEL!” His hand then got stuck in the doorway as Capitol Place tried pulling him out of subcommittee hearing.
Brian McGinnis, a 44-year-old former U.S. Marine and Green Party Senate candidate, interrupted a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing about the war with Iran.
During the hearing he shouted statements such as “No one wants to fight for Israel!” while protesting U.S. involvement in the conflict.
Capitol Police moved to remove him, and Republican Senator Tim Sheehy also stepped in to help officers escort him out.
The struggle and injury
McGinnis resisted being removed, and during the struggle his arm/hand got stuck in a doorway as officers tried to push him out of the hearing room.
He reportedly suffered a broken arm in the incident.
Video from the hearing shows the moment his arm appears wedged in the door frame while he was being forced out.
