Zach Bryan has deactivated his Twitter/X account after “drunkenly” saying that Kanye West makes better music than Taylor Swift ‼️
The drama started when the country singer made a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday morning saying that he prefers Kanye West’s music over Taylor Swift along with a preference towards the Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs, which many would take as a direct attack on the pop superstar and her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Zach Bryan’s tweet, which was deleted according to multiple sources, was received fairly seriously as an attack on Taylor Swift considering the past feud between Kanye and Swift, which would result in folks questioning Bryan of his intents, especially after Swifties revealed the singer was tweeting about celebrities getting involved in politics earlier in the week.
An alleged ‘deleted’ tweet from Zach Bryan starting the drama regarding Taylor Swift
Shortly after his post, Bryan made an apology by stating “I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong. I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye and I was speaking purely musically. I love Taylor’s music and pray you guys know I’m human and tweet stupid things often. Hope one day I can explain this to her. Twitter gets me in trouble too much and I’d say it’s best I stay off it. I’m sorry to any Taylor fans I pissed off or let down. Love you guys and I’m trying my best!”
Zach Bryan also made it known that “This year has been an awful lot on me in personal ways that no one knows and I’ve been trying to cope and balance too many things at once. So I’m going to take a breather from tweeting stupid stuff, finish my tour, and ground myself somehow in the midst of all this. I feel very, very blessed each day. Not taking it for granted and holding onto it has been so important to me. Okay, needed to get this off my chest, yall are the best and I’ll see you at Bourbon and Beyond”

As of writing, the account of Zach Bryan is showing “This account does not exist” signaling the artist has officially deactivated their account. Anyone who deactivates their account will still have 30 days to reactivate it before it’s deleted entirely, so the artist may return at another time when feeling up to the task of social media.
Despite making a few tweets towards Taylor Swift, Bryan has made it a point to let fans of the pop superstar know that he appreciates Taylor Swift and his tweets were not meant to cause chaos in the way that he received after posting the tweets to his timeline and this was all just a misunderstanding.
