Taylor Swift’s quick departure from New Orleans after Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl loss led some Swifties to theorize there might be trouble in their relationship. However, the reality is far from that. Sources spoke to Entertainment Tonight, Us Weekly, and People about how the couple is doing just fine in private.

“Taylor and Travis are still going very strong,” Entertainment Tonight’s source said. “She has been supportive of him since his Super Bowl loss.” The insider addressed their current plans, revealing the couple is “now focused on relaxing and taking time off.”

A source also confirmed to People that Kelce and Swift are taking a break together. “Their lives have been a whirlwind since they first started dating,” the insider said. “Things seem great between them, and they’re incredibly happy together.”

Us Weekly’s source had similar intel. “Taylor is supporting Travis during this difficult time and [is] just trying to be there for him as much as possible,” the insider said. “The game obviously did not go as planned.”

The Us Weekly source added that Swift doesn’t want to create any NFL drama. “[She] tries to stay in her lane when it comes to the sport and just be as supportive as possible,” they said.

Earlier today, Kelce spoke about the Kansas City Chiefs’ 22-40 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on his podcast, New Heights. “Going into the game I felt as confident as I ever felt going into a Super Bowl or a playoff game or a big game in my life,” he said. “It just wasn’t our day. Couldn’t find a lick of momentum.”

He touched on the possibility of retiring. “I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now I’m just kicking everything down the road,” the 35-year-old tight end said. “I’m not making any crazy decisions but right now the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding that a lot that goes into this thing.

“You know, I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years—I’ve played more football than anybody,” he added. “And it’s because the people that are in that building and the fact that we keep going to these AFC Championships and these Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league. That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body and it’s a lot of time spent in the building focusing on your craft, focusing on the task at hand…and that process can be grueling. It can weigh on you.”
