Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have reportedly taken steps to protect their friendship amid speculation that political differences could strain their relationship.

However, according to a source who spoke to DailyMail.com, the two friends have agreed to avoid discussing politics to prevent any potential conflicts.

The insider mentioned that Brittany was particularly careful to honor this agreement during a recent party Taylor hosted at her Rhode Island mansion for Blake Lively, choosing not to bring up any political topics.

“Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics,” they said.

“They both know it can tear apart friendships and they respect that they have different views.
