Prince William excites Britons with plans as Harry decides to return to UK…See More Details π
Prince William has taken a big step after Prince Harry’s announcement about his UK plans.
The Prince of Wales has exited Britons as he decided to step up his plans in the UK to resolve the issues of the people experiencing homelessness amid the cost of living crisis.
It is estimated that 52 per cent of the 60,000 people thought to be working within the sector are struggling to pay their bills, with 44 per cent challenged by spiralling housing costs themselves.
The UK’s top discount provider for the armed forces, emergency services, the NHS and social care sector has now announced a partnership with William’s Homewards programme.
A five-year project which aims to demonstrate it is possible to end the crisis. The initiative has so far brought its existing members over Β£330million in savings, improving mental well-being and offering financial support.
Alidad Moghaddam, Chief Executive Officer at Blue Light Card, said: “This workforce may not be easily identifiable as uniformed blue light workers like nurses, doctors, police, or firefighters, but we see them.”
The new partnership aims to “acknowledge the essential service they provide”.
William has been kept up to date on the partnership since its infancy when Homewards reached out to Blue Light Card as part of its ongoing work to recognise and champion workers playing a “key role in supporting communities”.
The prince is set to celebrate the new partnership in Aberdeen on Thursday (today), where he will spend time with people working across the homelessness sector.
On the other hands, Harry has also announced to return to the UK this month to boost his initiative by attending an event close to his heart amid reports of meeting with King Charles and Prince William who publicly sent the Duke best wishes on the his big day.
