Jason Kelce says this is the biggest threat to the Eagles season larry berger Fri, Sep 6, 2024, 6:39 PM GMT+1·2 min read
There are few people more qualified to forecast the Eagles season than one of the most beloved players in the organization’s rich history.
Jason Kelce spent 13 seasons with The Birds and will likely have a bust in Canton in a few years.
The popular podcaster recently spoke with USA TODAY Sports’ Mackenzie Salmon about the 2024 squad and had some interesting takes.
The six-time First-team All-Pro center, who will be commentating for ESPN this year, and will also release a second Christmas album, said that the Cowboys are not the biggest threat to the team
It’s all about how you practice each and every day, how you prepare, and how you go about your business throughout the course of the season that is going to dictate your record – not any other team,” said Kelce.
Kelce also thinks the team will continue to employ the “Tush Push.”
“They’d be stupid not to do it if it keeps working,” said Kelce. “I think it’s still going to work at a very, very high rate.”
The conversation also included the perception of Nick Sirianni who led Philly to an 11-6 mark in 2023. The team started white hot but dropped five of its last six games before falling to the Bucs in the playoffs
Whenever you lose a lot of games, it causes frustration,” said Kelce. “I think at the end of the day all these guys still love each other; all these guys respect one another. You go out, you win a couple of games early on, everybody is loving each other once again.”
