Jason Kelce Reveals His Daughters’ Sweet Nicknames for Their Grandparents…See More 👇
Jason Kelce’s children have the cutest nicknames for their grandparents!
On the latest episode of his New Heights with Jason and Travis podcast, released Sept. 4, Jason, 36, revealed the sweet names his daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 18 months, have for their grandmothers and grandfathers.
“The girls call Kylie’s mom Nana,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player began, referring to his wife Kylie Kelce’s mother and the girls’ grandma, Lisa McDevitt.
“Nana? Nice,” his brother and podcast co-host, Travis Kelce, responded. Jason added that the girls “call Ed, Kylie’s dad, Skeeter.”
As for his daughters’ grandparents on their dad’s side, Jason shared, “They call Donna Didi … And they call Ed, our dad, pop,” referring to his parents Donna and Ed Kelce.
“I think dad kinda got the short end of the stick on all those nicknames right there,” Travis, 34, joked as Jason agreed. “It’s definitely the least creative.”
Moments earlier, Jason revealed the unique nickname he and Travis had for their late grandma as children. “Mommaw is not what we call our grandma. We call our grandmother Grandma and the Kitties … that was a good name.”
The brothers then explained the reason for the nickname. “She loved her some kitties,” said Jason, with Travis adding, “She had a bunch of them running around the house.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Jason spoke about his dislike for cats as he admitted that he told his three daughters that felines “are poisonous” so that they wouldn’t want one.
“You know what my latest plan to divert our family from getting a cat is? I just keep telling our girls that cats are poisonous,” he revealed on the podcast.
“Why the f— would you tell them that?” Travis asked. “… So that they don’t want cats,” explained Jason. “And I don’t have to deal with having a cat and make them terrified.”
“That’s sick,” Travis responded.
Jason appeared unbothered by the lie, saying, “It’s whatever. They’ll find out — I think lying to your kids is important,” he jokingly added.
