The NHL’s ‘McJesus’ is a married man now. Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid got married to long-time girlfriend Lauren Kyle on July 27 in the presence of his friends and family. His fans had to wait almost two weeks after the wedding to get a sneak peek of the day. Now we are finally treated to the newlyweds’ wedding pictures.
The official X account of the NHL shared pictures of their wedding, where McDavid and Kyle can be seen walking down the aisle while holding hands. He was wearing a black tuxedo with black trousers and paired it with a white shirt and bowtie. Meanwhile, Lauren Kyle wore a white wedding gown with a medium-length veil.Another photo featured the couple on a luxury boat on the lake wearing their wedding outfits while holding champagne glasses.
Lauren Kyle’s best friend and Oilers forward Sam Gagner’s wife, Rachel Yelena Gagner, also shared some pictures. Her Instagram post included snaps of her daughter, Cali, while hugging Kyle and helping her with her long dress. Cali was the ‘flower girl’ during the wedding.She captioned her post,
What’s better then being in one of your best friends weddings? Doing it with your daughter too 🥹 Cali baby slayed the runway along side her queen,” Kyle wrote.
BarDown also shared a picture from the wedding party where McDavid and Leon Draisaitl lifted Lauren Kyle on their shoulders while she raised a Tequila bottle.

Kyle sported a runway Chloe look, and per Vogue Australia, she wore five dresses for the gala event.
Connor McDavid married his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Kyle, after more than nine years together. Following the wedding, she enjoyed celebrations with family and friends and shared moments on social media.
Sam Gagner’s wife, Rachel Gagner, also joined the festivities along with Leon Draisaitl and his fiancee Celeste Desjardins, and Darnell Nurse’s wife, Mikayla Nurse, among others. Kyle described it as the “best weekend of my life” in one of her Instagram stories. Gagner re-posted some of her snaps on her stories as well.
