Exclusive:Princess Kate: Anne Diamond ‘very worried and sad’ as absence continues…. See More.
GB News star Anne Diamond is “very worried and sad” about Princess Kate’s health as her absence from public events continues.
The future Queen’s public showings have been few and far between since she announced her cancer diagnosis in March.
She was last seen at the Wimbledon men’s final in July, where she presented the winners’ trophy to Carlos Alcaraz.
Anne bemoaned the British public becoming “used to not seeing her” as she asked Jennie Bond about when we might next get a glimpse of Kate.
“We’ve almost got used to not seeing her”, she said.
“This makes me very worried and sad. Do you think this is just her taking the summer off, or is this not good news?”
Bond responded: “In past years they have taken the summer off. They put their kids first when they can.
“I don’t know anything about her state of health and nor should I. I am hoping that come autumn, we may see more of her.”
While Kate has not been seen in public, she has been active on social media with statements alongside the Prince of Wales.
The couple congratulated Team GB on their first gold medals at the Olympics, which were won in equestrian and mountain biking.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, William and Kate said: “Huge congratulations to the Equestrian Eventing Team and Tom Pidcock in the mountain biking on winning @TeamGB’s first gold medals!
“Here’s to more success ahead!”
They also paid tribute to the families affected by the Southport knife attack which saw the deaths of three girls who were attending a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
They said: “As parents, we cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today are going through.
“We send our love, thoughts and prayers to all those involved in this horrid and heinous attack.
“Thank you also to the emergency responders who, despite being met with the most horrific scenes, demonstrated compassion and professionalism when your community needed you most.”
