Breaking News:Simone Biles reveals her parents bought her an Hermès bag after 2024 Olympics: ‘Don’t be mad at me’…See More 👇👇
Simone Biles shared that it was actually her parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles, who splurged on the pricey Hermès bag she picked up last week after competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“my parents bought me my hermes bag 🥰,” she wrote on Threads Wednesday. “don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents.”
Last Friday, Biles, 27, posted pictures from her pricey shopping spree to her Instagram Story; in one snap, the Olympic gymnast gave a peek inside the Paris Hermès store, which was filled with Birkin bags and Kelly purses in different sizes and neutral shades.
In a second picture, Biles posted a snap of her new purse in the iconic orange Hermès box. However, she did not show fans which bag she actually took home.
Fans replied to the 11-time Olympic medalist’s comment, assuring her that she didn’t have to explain anything about how acquired the luxury purse.
“You don’t owe no hating ass, snotty nose, pocket watcher an explanation on how you got your Hermès handbag. People buy whatever they want, whenever they want, for themselves or others. Enjoy! 💁🏾♀️🩷🩷🩷All I hear nothing but crickets now,” wrote one person.
“Girl, even if you bought yourself your own, I wouldn’t care! It’s your money, and you’re an Olympian. Like, go spend the money sis,” added another.
“Neither you nor they need to explain a thing about your bag,” said a third person.
“I don’t care if you bought the bag, your parents, your husband, or of Hermes gifted it to you as a memento of your spectacular performance in Paris. You don’t need to justify that bag to anyone, you just need to rock it with some fierce outfits and share pics so we can see that bag living its best life,” commented a fourth fan.
The athlete — who is married to NFL star Jonathan Owens — had a good reason to treat herself after she dominated the gymnastics portion of the Games, becoming the most decorated gymnast in history, thanks to her 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals.
Biles went home with three gold medals after competing in this year’s women’s artistic individual all-around, women’s artistic team all-around and women’s vault; and one bronze medal for her women’s floor routine.
We predict a lot more celebrations to come as Biles returns to life in the USA.
