The former first lady shared her heartwarming reaction to the special moment at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

Michelle Obama is loving the sisterhood between the gymnastic champions at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics!.

The former first lady, 60, shared her delighted reaction at seeing Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles bowing to Rebeca Andrade during the medal ceremony for the women’s floor gymnastics final on Monday, Aug. 5.

On Tuesday, Aug. 6, Obama reshared a photo of the special moment on X (formerly Twitter). “I’m still not over this beautiful moment of sisterhood and sportsmanship! You can just feel the love shining through these ladies. Congrats Rebeca, Jordan and Simone! ✨,” she added in her post.

The three gymnastic champions made Olympic history on Monday becoming the first all-Black gymnastics podium finishers after the women’s floor final.

During the podium ceremony, silver medalist Biles, 27, and bronze winner Chiles, 23, bowed down to Andrade, 25, in a heartwarming gesture as she stepped onto the podium to collect her gold medal.

Discussing the poignant moment afterward, Biles told PEOPLE, “[We were] showing good sportsmanship [and] having fun out there because it was the last competition.”

“It was representation,” Biles, who earned three gold and one silver medal at during this year’s Games, continued. “For all the little girls and boys that look like us, for them to believe in themselves that they can do it too. I was one day in their shoes when I saw Gabby [Douglas] win and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, if she can do it, I can do it.’ ”

Andrade explained to reporters after the final, “We can show the Black power … The idea is it serves as an incentive.” The Brazilian champion added that while “sometimes it may be more difficult” for gymnasts because of their “skin color,” the trio proves “it’s possible.”

The former first lady’s latest social media post about the Games comes after she previously shared her support for Biles at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, following the gymnast’s early exit from the tournament.
Obama offered words of encouragement at the time, writing on X: “Am I good enough? Yes, I am. The mantra I practice daily. @Simone_Biles, we are proud of you and we are rooting for you. Congratulations on the silver medal, Team @USA!”
