Breaking News:Meghan Markle Called Publicity Hungry As Prince Harry Looks Glum…See More 👇
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tour of Colombia was one for the books, and certainly one for the royal experts to poke and pick apart.
While in the South American country, the couple danced, played drums, attended and participated in summits, met schoolchildren and generally tried their best to explore the culture of the country.
However, as royal fans, and now a royal expert, pointed out, Harry didn’t look particularly excited to be there. Yes, at times he seems to have perked up and engaging in the events as easily and readily as his wife Meghan, but other times he isn’t particularly thrilled by whatever’s going on around him.
Arthur Edwards Claims Prince Harry Is Starring In A “Pantomime” Show
In his latest column for The Sun, Arthur Edwards seemed to particularly rip into Harry’s lackluster mood in Colombia.
“I think our once favourite royal is bored to bits, fed up of this endless woke pantomime he now finds himself starring in,” Edwards began, adding, “How else to explain his glum-looking expression during yet another tedious tour with his publicity hungry wife? Even with the red carpet rolled out for him during his faux-royal tour to South America, the Duke of Sussex often struggled to raise a smile.”
Even though Harry didn’t exactly integrate with things, Meghan was truly alive to all that was happening around her and received them all with a joyous grin.
“While his wife, Meghan, got into the salsa spirit with an almost permanent grin, the exiled Royal stood downcast by her side,” Edwards continued. “Looking at the photos from the couple’s four-day trip to Colombia, it appears to me that Harry is a very unhappy man.”
Comparing Harry’s reaction to Colombia, which he termed a “fabulous country,” with his father King Charles’, Edwards claimed there could not have been a bigger contrast. “Colombia is a fabulous country and I have been there with the King when he was Prince of Wales on a real royal tour hosted by the then president, Juan Manuel Santos. The contrast could not be more obvious. Charles appeared to me to love every second of his time in this truly exciting country in the autumn of 2014.”
According to Vice-president Francia Marquez, she invited Harry and Meghan to the country after being moved by their Netflix docuseries.
