Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in one of the biggest exhibition fights of all-time.
The contest will take place at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the United States.

Can Tyson really go again?
When asked after the fight whether this was the end of the road for Tyson’s boxing career, the former undisputed champion of the world said he would fight on. Perhaps even against Paul’s brother.

“I’d kill you, Mike,” was the retort by Logan Paul, who was stood behind Jake in the ring.

Before the fight, Lennox Lewis was asked if he would offer Tyson the rematch that never happened, if he overcame Paul. Lewis said: “No. I don’t think he wants that smoke either. He don’t want that smoke. Lennox Lewis is the best. I laid them all to rest.”

Realistically, this should be the end of the road for Tyson. As he said himself after the fight, he had nothing to prove to anyone other than himself. He did that by getting in great shape and taking all the punches from a younger man in his prime.

The next chapter for Tyson has to be to remain the centre of attention, for the inevitable shows and events that will follow, but the centre of the ring is no longer the place for the 58-year-old.

The upper body and mind were willing for Tyson
The 58-year-old tore into the fight, perhaps in the knowledge that he wouldn’t be able to counter the younger fighter’s ability to continue to throw punches.

The opening rounds looked like Tyson would indeed be able to land a knock-out punch but Paul, whether in reaction or through clear plan from the off, stepped off and used his feet to great effect.

Tyson couldn’t get into his opponents. Mainly because he couldn’t keep up with Paul’s dance around the ring, but also because the jab was waiting for him every time he looked to advance.

The balance throughout was clear to all, and to Paul. It appeared that he knew it would only take one punch from Tyson to finish the fight if he got within range.

As it was the legs couldn’t stand the test of time for the former champ. His chin, however, did. Paul landed early in the third to shake Tyson but he would not be knocked down despite the frequency of the punches landed thereafter.
