My apologies go out to everyone I hurt,” he said in a video.
Landon Barker is setting the record straight.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the musician, 21, shared a video to TikTok to deny rumors that he attended a Sean “Diddy” Combs-themed party last week to celebrate his recent birthday.
“I’d like to come on here and apologize and address the fact that people are saying I had this whole themed birthday party,” the son of Travis Barker said in the video. “First off, I’ve not had a birthday party. My birthday party is next week.”
He continued to claim that he, his family and a friend went to Nobu to celebrate his birthday, after which, he decided he wanted to go out with his friends. He stated that his friend reached out to a club promoter who invited them to a party and said he’d give them “a table and a bottle – make sure we are all good to go.”
The musician and his friends decided to go to the party and hang out at their table.
Barker addressed why he did not leave the party after arriving and becoming aware of its baby oil-themed bottle service, which was a nod to when law-enforcement officers seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ residences during raids.
“It was a dark environment and all I could really see was another table having flashing bottles being brought out,” he said. “The bottles had flashing lights underneath them, so I wasn’t able to distinguish what they were. I’m just thinking they’re bringing out tequila with the bottle. I have no idea of what’s going on at this point.”
Barker said he noticed the shape of the bottles after their drinks arrived at their table. “I didn’t pick up the bottle once and I did not condone,” he said. “I just went to a club to celebrate my birthday and ended up in a bad situation.”
The musician expressed his regret for the situation in the caption of the video, writing, “My apologies go out to everyone I hurt — this wasn’t my idea and I never wanted that to happen.”
In a follow up video also shared to TikTok, Barker addressed the allegation that he requested his friends to wear all-white for the event in reference to Combs’ star-studded white parties.
“This is what was worn on my birthday,” Barker said while showing a snap of his friends on his birthday. “Formal attire is a white top and black pants for most people. It was like a fancy dinner. People just took their jackets off.”
The photo showed a group of six boys wearing a variety of outfits with a majority of them being comprised of white and black fashion pieces.
Last week, a source told PEOPLE that Landon did not participate in the event, nor was he aware that it was happening. “The content that has surfaced from Wednesday night at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge is from another individual’s birthday,” the insider said before further corroborating Landon’s recollection of the evening.
“He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else,” the source added. “He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage.”
Harriet’s Rooftop did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
