Breaking News:Chicago Fire Season 13’s Latest Romantic Couple Reunite In New BTS Image…See More
The latest romantic couple in Chicago Fire reunites in a new season 13 set image. All three One Chicago shows have been back in production for the last few weeks now. So, while there hasn’t been any new footage released from any of the series, behind-the-scenes content from its cast and crew offers an idea of what to expect from the franchise’s upcoming year. It’s particularly interesting for Firehouse 51 as it enters Chicago Fire season 13 with a lot of changes ahead. That includes a burgeoning romance between two of the show’s newest characters.
Thanks to crew member Anthony Lullo on Instagram, a new image of Jack Damon and Lyla Novack from the set of Chicago Fire season 13 has been released.
In the image, Michael Bradway and Jocelyn Hudon appear to be in the middle of a filming break, as Chicago Fire season 13 shoots on location by a body of water. Unfortunately, Lullo doesn’t share any additional context for the scene.
Love stories are not new in Chicago Fire or in One Chicago as a whole. In fact, they are an integral part of the show’s storytelling. Over the years, Firehouse 51 has seen so many romances. Some of them worked, like Matt Casey and Sylvie Brett, who ended up married in Chicago Fire season 12, and others didn’t last for long. Currently, there are two active couples in Chicago Fire: Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide, as well as Sam Carver and Violet Mikami. If Damon and Novak decide to go out, they will be the latest addition to the group.
As two of the newest additions to Chicago Fire, the pair can bond over their shared experiences trying to fit in with a tight-knit group.
What separates this burgeoning love affair, however, is its characters’ respective backgrounds. As revealed in season 12, Damon is Benny Severide’s secret son, which makes him Kelly’s half-brother. Meanwhile, Novak’s past is still unclear, but it seems like she has also dealt with some family trauma, considering her initial refusal to be tied down to Firehouse 51. Hopefully, the new year can delve a little deeper into that part of the character. As two of the newest additions to Chicago Fire, the pair can bond over their shared experiences trying to fit in with a tight-knit group.
Whether the pair can actually be a serious couple is impossible to say at this point. Chicago Fire has also seen its fair share of break-ups in its twelve seasons on the air. Regardless, however, seeing the pair develop feelings for each other is yet another reason to be excited about the procedural’s return.
