Kansas City Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes has shared how her third pregnancy is impacting her daily life as a mother of two. Brittany who is expecting her third child with NFL star husband Patrick Mahomes opened up about the joys and challenges of expanding their family.
In a recent episode of the Whoop podcast, Brittany expressed her excitement about adding another member to their household. Their growing family already includes their daughter, Sterling Skye, who is 3 years old, and their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, who is 21 months old.
Brittany discussed how managing her sleep has become more challenging during this pregnancy, especially with two young children already in the house. She emphasized the importance of rest, acknowledging that finding time for naps has become more difficult as her family grows.
“I need naps,” Brittany admitted.
“So I like to work my naps into my schedule now, because when you’re pregnant you’re tired.
“With the first pregnancy, it was just me. So I could take naps, sleep all day, you know, I had nothing priority for me to do. Then, with Bronze, it was like, ‘Well, I have to take care of this kid but I’m tired,’ so I would just nap when she napped.
“Now I have two kids to take care of, but they do nap at the same time, so I’m able to nap with them. But I am definitely a little bit more tired. Some days I wake up and I’m feeling absolutely horrible.”
The Mahomes family announced the news of their third pregnancy in July with a heartwarming Instagram Reel. The video featured Brittany, Patrick, and their two children, all dressed in white, as they shared sonogram images and enjoyed a joyful photo shoot.
