Travis Kelce’s racehorse, Swift Delivery, shines at the Toronto Cup with Taylor in attendance and cheering
Travis Kelce, the NFL star and boyfriend of pop sensation Taylor Swift, is making waves in the horse racing world through his co-ownership of a racehorse named Swift Delivery. This weekend, Swift Delivery competed in the Toronto Cup but finished second to a horse called Piper’s Factor at Woodbine Racetrack’s E.P. Taylor turf course. Despite not claiming victory, the horse had been on a solid winning streak, having previously secured first place in its last two races.
The second-place finish earned Swift Delivery and jockey Patrick Husbands a share of the purse, totaling 20 percent of the $125,000 for the one-mile race. However, the excitement surrounding the race extended beyond monetary gains. Woodbine spokesperson Leanne Elnicki noted, “We definitely saw an uptick in young women, I can say that unequivocally,” highlighting how Swift’s connection drew in a fresh crowd to the event
Elnicki further emphasized the racetrack’s enthusiasm about this newfound attention, stating, “We love when new people discover our sport, and if it means discovering it through, you know, the connection of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, hey, we’re all for it.” The intersection of sports and pop culture has undeniably sparked interest among fans, particularly those following Kelce’s journey since he began dating Swift last year

Team Valor International, which manages a stable of partnership-owned racehorses, confirmed that Kelce recently acquired a significant share in Swift Delivery, a three-year-old thoroughbred bred in Kentucky.
