WATCH: Taylor Swift’s Mom Andrea Reacts to ‘thanK you aIMee’ Lyric About Her During 2nd London Eras Tour Show with tears rolling down her eyes
Taylor Swift and Andrea Swift are once again proving that they are mother-daughter goals!
For the surprise songs portion of the Eras Tour show in London on Saturday, June 22, Swift performed a mashup of Speak Now hit “Mean” and The Tortured Poets Department’s “thanK you aIMee,” which mentions Andrea.
The latter song contains pointed lyrics about Swift’s feud with Kim Kardashian, with Swift, 34, singing, “Everyone knows that my mother is a saintly woman, but she used to say she wished that you were dead.”
As the 14-time Grammy winner delivered the line on the Wembley Stadium stage, a fan who was filming the show from near the VIP friends and family tent turned their camera to show her mom’s sweet reaction. In the video, Andrea walks along a barricade waving at fans and, as the crowd shows no signs of stopping their cheers of “Mama Swift,” she appears to get choked up, smiling and covering her mouth.
With a handful of friendship bracelets gifted to her by Swifties — an Eras Tour tradition inspired by a lyric from Midnights track “You’re On Your Own, Kid” — she also touched her hand to her chest as she walked through the crowd.
