WATCH: Toddler leaves the internet in stitches with her daily Taylor Swift routine that helps prepare her for preschool
A toddler’s daily Taylor Swift routine that helps prepare her for preschool has left the internet in stitches. Jes Weiner, 31, took to TikTok to share an insight into how four-year-old daughter AJ gets ready for the day ahead. The artist and muralist, from Arkansas, uploaded a snippet from the school run as the Grammy-award winning singer’s Look What You Made Me Do played in the background.
In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 88,100 times, Jes can be seen sitting in the car with a mug in hand. Then overlaid text reads: ‘This is my daughter’s morning routine. We are sitting still in the school drop off line. 7.28am.’ The track can be heard playing over the radio as the lyrics state: ‘I’m sorry the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh.’ Then, in true Swiftie style, AJ screams out with all her might from the seat behind: ‘Because she’s dead.’
Jes tries to stifle her own laugh before giving a knowing side-eye out of the window. She then uploaded the clip for her 14,000 TikTok followers alongside a caption that read: ‘Taylor Swift damn, it’s 7 am… but like, in the best way. Yes, we do this every day. Get it all out before you gotta go be good at preschool all day.’ And, elaborating further in the comments, the bemused mom shared: ‘It’s a great start to my morning. Let me tell you – it is better than coffee.
‘If I can’t find her in the house, I blast this and she comes a RUNNIN’. This song will snap her out of a meltdown so fast. It’s amazing. Hard relate, honestly.’ Jes’s video soon went viral as viewers rushed to heap on the praise for the tiny singer and her enthusiasm. One person wrote: ‘The voice crack had me. I love her,’ and AJ replied: ‘Oh, and it’s ALWAYS like that! She gives it her ALL.’
Another shared: ‘I think we should all start our mornings like this. Taking notes from your daughter.’ Someone else branded her as a ‘total icon’ as another quipped: ‘Now that’s a morning affirmation. Jes has since spoken to Newsweek to shed further light on her daughter’s routine, explaining how AJ ‘requests the song every single day.’
