Recently, viewers gained more insight into their relationship during the annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity event on June 1, where Kelce joined comedian Jason Sudeikis and spoke about Swift. During the playful banter at the charity event, Jason Sudeikis questioned Travis Kelce when he plans to make an “honest woman” out of Taylor Swift.

Per CNN Entertainment, the comedian added, “Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore, and, again, I know your kicker agrees with me. He gets it.” This comment seems to be a reference to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent controversial commencement speech, where he claimed that most women are more willing to focus on marriage and motherhood rather than their careers.

During the light-hearted exchange, Robert Smigel and George Wendt also playfully suggested that the NFL star could ask his girlfriend to finance a new football stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs, adding that a “few hundred million” won’t really make any difference for her.
Travis Kelce responded to Jason Sudeikis’ comments about Taylor Swift with an embarrassed smile and an awkward chuckle. Eventually, he had enough and said, “Guys, you’re really pushing it.”

Taylor Swift was absent from the charity event, as she is currently touring in Europe for her Eras Tour. Since they began dating, Travis Kelce has attended several of her shows. Most recently, he flew in to watch Taylor Swift’s show in Paris on May 12, where her friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper also joined him.
