🇺🇸🚨 – U.S. Senators have officially called for President Trump’s removal from office under the 25th Amendment.
The 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution allows for a president to be removed from power if they are deemed unable to discharge the duties of their office.
Specifically, Section 4 allows:
The Vice President
Along with a majority of the Cabinet
to declare the president unfit for office.
Congress would then decide the outcome if the president contests the decision.
⚖️ Important Clarification
Senators alone cannot remove a president using the 25th Amendment.
The process must begin with the Vice President and Cabinet, not Congress.
Congress only steps in if there is a dispute.
If senators are publicly calling for removal, it is a political statement or pressure tactic, not the legal trigger itself.
🏛️ Has This Happened Before?
The 25th Amendment has been used temporarily when presidents underwent medical procedures, but Section 4 (involuntary removal) has never successfully been used against a sitting president.
